Founding inspector programme terms

What LooView pays for measurements in Amsterdam, when, and under which conditions. Version 2026-11. Short on purpose: these nine points are the whole deal.
§1

Who can take part

Anyone with a LooView account who is 18 or older, one account per person. A seat is taken automatically by your first accepted measurement in Amsterdam while the programme is open; there are 100 seats.

§2

What is paid

€3 for the first measurement of a toilet and €4 for the second or third, by a different inspector each. From the fourth inspector on, a toilet is measured for the city, not for pay.

§3

What is not paid

A toilet you measured before, a toilet that already has 3 measurements, more than 15 paid measurements by you on one calendar day (Amsterdam time), measurements after the 1500th paid one or after the end date, and measurements while the programme is not open. Those still count for Amsterdam.

§4

Hold and checks

Every credited measurement is held for 14 days. In that time LooView may check it on the spot. A measurement that is not genuine, or whose review is deleted, is reversed and not paid.

§5

Reversal and exclusion

Measurements that are not genuine are reversed. Repeated or deliberate abuse ends your participation; measurements already paid are not reclaimed, measurements still held are not paid.

§6

Payout

By bank transfer to the IBAN on your profile, roughly monthly, from €20 of payable balance. When the programme ends, every remaining balance is paid. Without a complete payout profile nothing is paid and your balance waits.

§7

Tax

The fee is income you declare yourself. LooView may be obliged to report payments to the Dutch tax authority (Belastingdienst) and may ask you for the details that requires.

§8

End of the programme

The programme ends after 1500 paid measurements, on the published end date, or earlier when LooView closes it. Credited measurements are paid either way.

§9

What this is not

This is a fee per accepted measurement, not employment and not an assignment. You decide if, when and where you measure. Version 2026-11 of these terms applies from the moment you accept it on your profile.
